Hey guys! It was my birthday yesterday and I'm here with a little chatty post to go along- bringing you some life lessons I learnt before I turned 15! You might want to grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea as I feel like this one may be a long one...

1. Not Everyone Has The Same Intentions As You
Everyone's minds can't be alike so it's only natural that people may not want the same thing as you; whether this be if you're in a relationship or friendship or whatnot, if it's not working for you... sometimes the best thing is letting go, even if it's hard.
2. Crying Doesn't Solve Everything
While it might just be good to cry your feelings out instead of eating them, sometimes you need to face your problems head on instead of avoiding them and crying when things don't go as you want.
3. Treat People How You Want To Be Treated
This is a huge one for me! If you haven't read my advice post (which I'll link down below, some cheeky self promo here & there), I just wasn't the nicest person in primary school. I remember feeling so bad about myself, or jealous and saying things out of spite and it was wrong, and horrible. Nowadays, if you're not horrible or rude to me first, I'll treat you just like I'd treat anyone else- or so I'd like to think!
4. Don't Let Anyone Walk All Over You
In saying 'treat people how you want to be treated', you don't want to be so kind to the point where you simply let people walk all over you. Honestly, stand your ground- whether that's the amount of money you want for a sponsored post or video to someone treating you like shit, don't let yourself get treated like a fool because you're worth more!
5. Don't Get Involved In Others' Arguments
Whether it was a petty argument on the school playground or nowadays when people talk behind each other's backs- don't get involved or spill some tea, it's not worth it! Most of time when I got myself involved in other's arguments, they made up and it always turned on you for some of the things you said or done.
6. Don't Keep Beating Yourself Up For Your Mistakes
The worst nights are those nights when your brain decides to bring up something you said or done, and you overthink. Overthinking turns to regret, crying, wondering 'why', wondering if they still hate you, wondering why you didn't do something, wondering 'what if this happened' or 'what if that happened'. Just, no. Don't keep beating yourself up for someone who you once worse and somebody that knows better now.
7. Life Is Worth Living, Even Though You Don't Feel Like That
I think that says it all, don't you?
8. Don't apologize for being who you are
I think this is self explanatory!
9. Listen To Your Mother When She's Saying Your Eyebrows Look Shit
On a slightly light note, eh? But when your mother critises your makeup, listen to her! I cannot emphasize this for my eyebrow 'slug' phase, I kid you not, they were literal overdrawn and too dark slugs!
10. And Lord Forbid, DO NOT Pluck Your Own Eyebrows Until You Know What You're Doing
11. Try To Be More Social, Even If It Seems Hard
... because when you have social anxiety, it's not that easy! I'm such an introvert, and I kind of wish I wasn't but aye...
12. Who Needs Boys When You Have Chicken Nuggets, Pizza and KFC?
Seriously though?!
13. Everything Happens For A Reason
I think you've heard this one a lot more than you probably want to, but it's true! If you've closed a few doors, new ones will open and that's how it was meant to be- even if you don't think so at first.
14. There's A Difference Between Loving Yourself And Being Low-Key Vain
If you're just low-key (or high-key, I mean it's blatantly obvious) that you're vain, I can't get on with you because I can't stand people who think they're better than everybody else. On the other hand, you should start to love yourself- even if you don't now! It's a shame that people get called out for being vain when they're just loving themselves without being snobby and thinking they're better than everyone else- and there's nothing wrong with that!
15. Hard Work Pays Off
To end, here's a motto I'm trying to live by! There's nothing better than going to bed knowing you've been super productive and that you've got things out the way!
