2. On the other hand, I do have something to pick at with this 228 brush... Though it is very soft and blends eyeshadow seamlessly- it does have quite the bit of shedding, such a shame! Still, though, I do love it to blend out shadows in my crease and couldn't not include it!
3. Now onto Real Techniques, a brand I'm sure you're all more than aware of! The Sculpting Brush was a recent addition to my collection, but one well worth the price! The tightly-packed, soft bristles manage to make contouring a breeze- providing you're light handed, of course.
4. Another one of my favourite brushes, is the Real Techniques Powder Brush which (as the name suggests) is perfect for powder! Despite it being quite easily the biggest brush I've ever seen (quite an inconvenience for the makeup bag), it never fails to blow me away with its dense, soft bristles that pick up product amazingly! Need I mention, it's also the quickest drying brush in my entire collection- though I don't know how useful that information is to you...
5. More Real Techniques?! Now well and truly seems to be the time to mention #notspon! Yet another recent purchase of mine was the Blush Brush. At first, I was worried about how good will brush would be due to how big it looked on the website, but it just so happened to be an all around amazing brush. It's large, tapered, yet flexible shape means it's perfect for more than just blushing up: bronzing, contouring, powdering or even brushing off powder- you name it!
6. Okay, I promise... this will be last time I will mention Real Techniques! Back in 2014, when I first properly got into makeup, I decided to purchase the Core Collection and guess what? To this day, my brushes are still in pristine condition! The contouring and buffing brush are firm favourites mine- being versatile, soft and literally never shedding!
7. Finally, another brand! To be quite honest, Essence brushes aren't my favourite for a variety of reasons- that is... other than my beloved blender brush. It's a perfect alternative to the Zoeva 128 and isn't all that different, apart from being slightly larger, denser and coming in at a mere £1.50! For the price, it's bloody amazing and you should definitely give this one a try!
8. Now, I haven't dabbled much with New Look makeup, or beauty products for that matter, but one product I have tried and loved is the bronzer brush. This is a funny one, as for applying any sort of product... it's by far the worst brush ever- soaking up all the product you give it. However, I found a slightly different use for it, and boy... does it work well as a blending brush for your contour! I didn't know whether to include this one as it's out of stock on their New Look's website, but it is amazing for tidying up your heavy-handed contour and I feel like everyone needs a similar brush!
9. Lastly, we have the LaRoc 10 Piece Kabuki Set. Now, I've done a whole review on these brushes roughly a year ago and while some ends have broken off my beloved brushes, they will forever remain some of my favourites! For a mere £5.99, you get 5 kabuki-style face brushes, and 5 'eye' brushes- I say with apostrophes as most are just too big for the eyes! The face brushes, however, are perfection! They may be a nightmare to wash, but the dense soft bristles take in product well without soaking it up, as well as distributing evenly on the face- something I found to be a nightmare with some brushes. A hit and miss product? Maybe... but they provide bloody amazing value!
