Hello everybody! Recently, I've been trying out Charlotte Crosby's new Fitness DVD, '3 Minute Belly Blitz', which (apparently) can make lose you up to 5lbs a week. After trying it a few times, I'll be explaining how it works, the pros and cons and more!

How it works
Despite what you think the name might suggest, it's not just a simple 3 minute workout! There are 12 rounds that are split into 3 minute high-intensity sections. There's a Warm Up, Cool Down, Extra Ab Section and, if you want, a diet plan. Now personally, I don't follow the diet plan because it is very restrictive but the overall idea is to reach 1250 calories a day. The 12 sections aren't all cardio, there's a good mix between cardio and resistance and also the body parts targeted but either way, it's a surprisingly hard workout to complete! In the sessions, there is a harder option and (for most moves) an easier option so you can still burn calories instead of just standing on the spot when it gets a bit tough! You don't really need any equipment, although in the warm up Charlotte suggests weighted-gloves but, as an alternative, also says you can use water bottles.

Does it work?
I'm going to be honest with you, unless you workout already or do some sort of sport- it's unlikely that you're going to finish all 12 rounds on your first go! Its more intensive than it seems and, along with the diet plan, I'm not surprised that Charlotte lost the amount of weight she did. I haven't been at it for long, but I definitely feel like if I stick to it (and eat healthily), it's going to be something that produces results!
I have done all sessions before and let me tell you now, the next day I woke up and could barely feel my legs and stomach.

Value for money?
The DVD is available on Amazon for £12.00, it's not the cheapest I've seen but it's not too bad either- and certainly worth the money for what you get.
Pros & Cons
There are quite a few pros to mention with this one! Firstly, the workouts are anything but a boring jogging or weight-lifting session; I don't usually do all 12 sessions so its also fun to mix and match the ones you do. While I haven't seen results just yet, I feel like it'll speak for itself if I stick with it and also, it's pretty good value compared to a lot of other fitness DVD's out there on the market today. Finally, I also really like how there's an easier option with all moves so you can still do something if it gets a bit too tough.
On the other hand, I feel like there could be something in-between sessions while they're explaining the moves. Yes... there's time to drink water but I feel like I'm standing there doing nothing for quite a bit when I could be doing something.

Overall, I'm really enjoying the 3 Minute Belly Blitz- let me know in the comments if you've tried it or want to!
There are plenty of different moves included in the DVD, from resistance workouts that tone your butt and abs to cardio that will get the fat burning! From mountain climbers to sumo squats, there's something everyone can get out of the DVD. The cardio does heavily rely on different forms of jumps but nonetheless, the workout is far from boring and does its job.
