Hey guys! As some of you may know, I did this post in February (quite recent, yes I know!) but it accidentally got deleted and now that my feed has quite a few more photos- I thought we could do with a little update. I hope you enjoy looking at how I edit my photos and that you like them as much as I do.

I edit my photos using VSCO Cam; I know... I'm as basic as you can get but the app really is amazing! While they do have some free filters, most of the one's I'm going to show you I've paid for. I've bought 2 packs of presets- the Limited Edition collection and the Minimalist collection.
Most of the time, editing my photos is pretty simple but I'm just going to take you through the process of editing one of my photos in detail (in case you're a beginner to the app).
As you can see, this is just what happens when I go onto the VSCO Cam app- I have all my Instagram photos loaded so I know how my photos will look with my feed.
I start by clicking on the photo, and clicking the to edit it.
I scrolled through my filters to see what I could do with the photo. I picked the filter A8 as I thought it looked best with my feed (before photo the left, after photo to the right). This is a paid filter but, again, there are still some good filters you can get for free.
After picking the filter, I press the small arrow at the bottom and press the second button- this is where all the main work begins!
I start by turning down the exposure by 3 because this photo was a bit bright to suit the rest of my feed.
I then continue to turn down the contrast by 1, this makes it a bit darker and you can see the difference!
I then scroll across the editing tools and up the clarity by 3, this just makes the image look a bit sharper and bolder.
I then turn the saturation down by 2, this doesn't make too much of a difference now but it will with what I'm about to do at the end!
Again, I want the image to be a bit darker and for the highlights of the image to be darker so I go on Highlights Save and up it by 3.
And finally, we finish off by turning down the temperature to get the signature blue on my feed- if you want a photo to be more yellow and warm toned, you can turn it up.
