Aside from makeup, fashion, blogging and whatnot, I also happen to be an avid photography enthusiast who takes Instagram far too seriously (cheeky self promo, you can follow me @gabijabarkute). Now, although some photos can look good in all their unedited glory, it's usually not the case- especially now it's Winter, and lighting not on your good side! So... want to know what editing and other photography apps I use?
Well, this is a pretty self-explanatory app- basically known as the free version of Facetune! If you have any spots you want to cover or skin to smooth, this is the app for you- not that I'm promoting smoothing your skin in selfies, but I mean... it's there if you want it!
Pixlr is definitely one of the best free editing apps out there, especially for blog photos! From blurring, to cropping, to brightening and darkening parts of your photos- there's probably a tool here that'll come in handy, especially for my fellow bloggers here who love a good white and bright photo!
I'll be honest, SLMMSK isn't an app I use all that often but nonetheless, it can add a lot to your selfies! To put it simply, this is basically a filter app for your selfies- some of which include emojis to cover your face, blurred effects etc... as well as adding a time/date stamp. Above is an example because I'm ridiculously bad at explaining things!
Like SLMMSK, this isn't an app to edit photos- but one to schedule and plan your Instagram posts on. There's really not much to say about this app, other than you can add a lot of photos and choose the right one to go on your feed!
Ah, every YouTuber and blogger's favourite! If you were to get one app, I'd direct you towards VSCO Cam as it seems to be the best all-round editing app- from its filters to other features, such as adjusting the exposure. I'll be honest, you don't get an awful lot of filters unless you pay for more packs- but they often have offers for these packs and they're not all that expensive anyway! Investment, I say...
