Hey guys! Recently, I've done a little bit of shopping here and there and thought 'what better post to do than a first impressions?'. Okay... maybe I didn't think that, but it's been a while since my last 'Beauty Tryouts' post and I've got quite a few bits I haven't yet mentioned in a post- so why not? This whole introduction has just turned into a little ramble, so before I get too carried away... let's get into the post!

I'll be perfectly honest, I haven't tried this one for long at all- but that's what first impressions are about! This is my first brow pomade, so it may be harder to compare, but I know a good product when I see one! I'll be honest, I expected brow pomades to be a lot more consuming than brow pencils- but it was the exact opposite, it was so quick! Not only does this pomade make my mornings easier, it also makes your brows sharp and you have so much more control over the shape than a pencil. Also, the staying power is absolutely incredibly- it's so hard to take off, even with micellar water!

Recently, I went on a weekend break to Köln with my parents and who would I be to not take a peek at the Benefit counter in the P&O ship?! For as long as it's been released, I've had my eyes on this palette and am thrilled to finally have it! After all, it's an inexpensive way to try out most of the Benefit blushes at once!
In this set, you get...
∙ A 1.5g mini of the 'Watt's Up' highlighter
∙ A 3.0g mini of the 'They're Real! Mascara'
∙ A 0.36g mini of the 'They're Real! Push-Up Liner'
∙ A 6.0g 'Sugarbomb' Blush
∙ A 5.0g 'Rockateur' Blush (This one's full size, which originally costs £24.50!)
∙ A 5.0g 'Coralista' Blush
∙ A 4.0g 'Dandelion' Blush
∙ A 5.0g 'Hoola' Bronzer
Overall, I'm in love with this set- not only is it the perfect kit for travelling with, but most of the products are amazing! I've found that the blushes have the perfect amount of pigmentation- not too much so you have to be very careful upon application, but not too little so it doesn't blend out to nothing! Also, I have found the pigmentation to be very even and blendable, and for the product to stay on all day- it's a yes from me! The mini's, however, I haven't really played around with much so I can't give you much of a review!

Again, I bought these brushes recently in Germany and have been using them non-stop this entire week! I'll admit, they certainly aren't cheap for what they are- but are they worth it?
I love both of these brushes dearly! The 228 Crease Brush is absolutely perfect for packing eyeshadows into your crease and for blending- it's stiff enough for packing colour on, but still flexible and long enough to blend it out. Although I haven't yet washed these yet (clearly seen by my photos!), there hasn't been any shedding yet- which is promising as some of my poorer quality brushes shed like crazy!
The 109 brush is also amazing, but I feel like it would be a lot better for cream contouring than powder contouring. I have only tried it with powder contour products, and it makes you contour very sharp- so if you're not into the whole Kim Kardashian contouring vibe, this brush is not for you (due to its shape)! It's incredibly soft, but not so soft where it doesn't apply any product, as well as distributing product very well. The brush is comfortable to hold and makes contouring a heck of a lot quicker for those rushed mornings!

Now, for the time that I've tried this bronzer, I haven't been able to put it down- it's amazing! To be honest, I wasn't too optimistic about this bronzer due to its price tag but have been blown away! One thing I struggle with when finding bronzers is getting the right tone, and this is a perfect, neutral tone- not orange but not grey either. It applies very evenly and, as mentioned with the Benefit blushes, contains the perfect amount of pigmentation for you to be able to keep it natural, or build it up if you wish.
If you are going to Germany anytime soon, I would highly recommend picking this up!

This one, like the NYX Brow Pomade, is also quite the first impression! So far, however, I've had mixed opinions of this palette! Some of the shades are incredibly pigmented and blend out very evenly, but some of the darkest and lightest shades tend to be a little bit powdery and unpigmented- although feeling smooth on the skin. There's no denying that this is an absolute bargain, but I really don't know how I feel about palette overall just yet- it has its ups and downs!
