Hello everybody! I hope you're all having a good day! If you didn't read the title, then I'm going to be giving you a review of the Maybelline Fit Me Powder- something that, until a few weeks ago, spent ages on my wishlist. Will this powder beat the cult favourite 'Rimmel Stay Matte'? We'll see...

The Packaging & First Impressions
The packaging get's a thumbs up from me! While it may be a little on the bulky side, on the top you get your powder and if you lift it up, you get a mirror and a powder puff! For £5.99, I think that's pretty good value!
The Review
As I've talked about the packaging above, I won't expand on it here- but I love it! Now don't get me wrong, I liked the Rimmel Stay Matte, but it just didn't blow me away; while it kept me matte, I look like a complete cake-face no matter how little product I used, not to mention it oxidizing on my skin!
When I tried this powder for the first time, I was very impressed! I feel like this is a very hit and miss product though, you either love it or hate it as I've heard both bad and good! The first thing I noticed was that you couldn't even tell I had powder on my face, which is a bonus for anyone (unless you're into the cakey look). I also noticed how it kept me relatively matte the whole day, I say relatively as I did need to top up once in school. It blended very well and didn't stick to my dry patches, unlike the Rimmel Stay Matte. It cost £5.99 so it was very affordable too.
Although I did mainly love it, there are a few things I need to mention... The first is that if you have never used a powder puff and want to use the once given, use it light handedly as if you put too much powder onto the puff, you will look very cakey! The second is that it does have a fine shimmer, nothing too noticeable but perhaps not what some people want if they prefer a matte face.

Pros, Cons & My Final Verdict
Pros | Cons |
• Very affordable and good value for money • Blended Well • Kept me relatively matte for most the day • Helped to make me look more powerless • Didn't stick to my dry patches • Loved the packaging | • Maybelline test on animals • Has a fine shimmer that is not always wanted • Too much can make you look cakey |
Overall, I was really impressed with this powder and so far, am preferring it to my Rimmel Stay Matte, shock horror, I know. I would give it a 4.5/5 because it has the fine shimmer and because too much of the stuff can make you look like a cake face.
