Ah New Years Resolutions... you love them, or you hate them- but there's no doubt that we've all made them at some point in our lives! Last year, I made a lot of New Year's Resolutions- but I won't sit here and lie pretending I've achieved all of them. So, want to know how I got on with my resolutions/goals/whatever name floats your boat? Scroll down for more!

Build Up My Beauty Collection
Well well well, I can more than safely say that I've achieved this one- with my makeup collection previously taking up one small drawer to now, two small drawers and two large drawers! To be honest, I don't know if I should feel ashamed and hand myself in to Shopping Addicts Anonymous (is that a thing?) or feel proud.
Learn How To Highlight Properly
Properly? No way! Why look like you have a natural glow to your skin when you can look like a glazed doughnut instead?!
Start A YouTube Channel
Well this certainly hasn't happened and I am currently not planning to do this any time soon- or at all, if I'm being honest! Blogging is more than enough for me to take on at the momen but also, it's not something I'm majorly interested in anymore- unless they would be cinematic or more creative videos.
Stay Organised
While I'm sure my parents and friends would probably roll their eyes at this... I think my organisation skills have improved in 2016. Organisation is such a big thing I preach, but it's the little things like packing my school bag the night before that always leave me running late in the mornings- that... and I just really like to take my time caking my face in makeup!
Drink More & Eat Clean
Although I can't say I've sorted out some small dehydration issues out, I can say that my eating habits have improved. Recently, I've been really enjoying going to the gym and can't stand days when I eat unhealthily. Also, I've found that I just don't crave takeaways like I used to- rather strange, but I'm not complaining!
Have More Followers On Bloglovin'
As a bit of context, I made this resolution when I had 3 Bloglovin followers and just wanted to start interacting and using the site more often- and I have! As I'm typing this, I have 122 Bloglovin followers (which is a clear improvement) and can't wait to grow my blog even more as the new year rolls around!
Improve My Blog Photography
This, out of all my resolutions, is the one that has had the most significant success/progress! My photos were appaling- blurry, under/over exposed, not edited and just overall... not very interesting photos. Admittedly, my photography is by no means perfect and still has its good and bad days but compared to last year, the improvement is massive (especially considering I mostly used other people's photos!).
Be Happier
I'll be completely honest, this resolution was a failure on my part- 2016 has had a lot more downs than it has ups for me. However, in 2017, I'm very determined to get my shit together and start improving my mental health and happiness!
That's it for today's post! Let me know how you got on with your resolutions for 2016 in the comments below!
