Hey guys! Up until recently, skincare wasn't something that I was terribly fussed over- with my routine consisting of makeup remover, face wash and moisturizer; but as my skin has taken a turn for the worst... I've finally began to form somewhat of a routine! Want know my current favourite products? Click the 'Read More' button...

The Everyday Edit
While I forgot to include my face wash (A* blogger here), I always start my routine by washing my face with the Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash (£5.50). For those who may not know, Tea Tree is supposed to be great for those with breakouts or acne and, while it doesn't get rid of them, it helps them to go down and look a lot better! Now onto the next step...
Before moisturizing, I always try to use the Tea Tree oil, which I found in Tesco for just £1.00, on my spots. I also do this in the evening along with using my face wash and Garnier Micellar Water (£4.99) to take my makeup off. I'm sure you'd have heard of it by now but it truly is the best product for removing your makeup. While it is a personal preference, I can't stand makeup wipes- they're way too time consuming, don't take all of my makeup off and irritate my sensitive skin, whereas these are quick and just get the job done.

After washing my face and putting on my tea tree oil (that is... if I remember), I always moisturize! I swear by moisturizer and, even if you don't wear makeup, I highly suggest getting one as it's likely you don't want dry and flakey skin! This also goes for oily skin; it's a huge misconception that if you have oily skin, you don't need to moisturize. However, you can still get dry patches regardless of your skin type!
In the morning, I tend to use the Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream (£12.00) as it sinks into my skin quite quickly (perfect when you don't have much time to get ready for school), as well as doing its job and moisturizing!
As I have combination skin, I tend to use a heavier cream for the night. My all-time favourite is Lush's Celestial (£14.95) but currently, I'm using Skindrink (£13.95). I do like it, but I think it would be more suited to a dry or very dry skin, whereas Celestial works wonders for my combination skin!

The Once A Week Edit
'Treat yo self' isn't limited to shopping! Why not have a pamper night too?
I had run out of both my scrub and mask and, of course, my birthday shopping spree wouldn't have been complete without going into Lush. I picked up the Cup O' Coffee mask (£6.75) the Ocean Salt scrub (£8.50) as well as a bath bomb- but that's long gone!
I am loving both the mask and scrub- and not only because Lush focuses on creating cruelty-free products. This mask actually feels more like a scrub, as it has micro-beads to exfoliate, but it's not too harsh on your face and leaves your skin feeling as smooth as a baby's. I didn't expect to like this, but I actually love it- despite its very strong coffee scent!
As for the scrub, it's definitely not something you'd use often as it's very intense- but it works a treat! It exfoliates amazingly and unclogs your pores, as well as leaving your skin feeling soft and refreshed. I know that the original version contained Vodka (interesting, I know!) but they changed the formula recently and I think it's for the best, as alcohol actually dehydrates your skin instead of doing much good.
