Hey guys! When it comes to drugstore makeup game, I think Makeup Revolution kills it- it's rare that I find a product of theirs that I'm not a fan of. If you know me well, you'll probably know that I'm obsessed with highlighting, strobing, whatever you want to call it- so I was dying to try this palette out and am here today to share my thoughts with you. Hope this is useful!

As always, I'm a huge fan of the Makeup Revolution packaging- it's very sleek, sophisticated and doesn't look like a drugstore product! The palette is also really sturdy and has a very good sized mirror, which will makes it great for travel.
The supposed Hourglass Ambient Lightening Palette dupe has 3 shades: Breathe (a light rose-gold shade), Exhale (a lighter champagne shade) and Glow (a warm-toned bronze shade). They are all finely milled and aren't chunky at all, with only a slight sparkle to it.
In terms of shades, I feel like Breathe and Exhale are very universally-flattering and would suit all skin tones but on my pale skin, Glow is a lot more of a bronzer/blush than a highlight- so I do wish Makeup Revolution would bring out a few versions of this palette so people could get a lot of use out of all the shades.

As you can see, the shades are quite pigmented and, as the name suggests, quite radiant and lightweight.
Breath and Exhale have a satin finish whereas Glow does have some micro-glitter, but it's still quite natural. These are very much 'barely there' highlighters and I feel like I could dust these all over my face after using powder because they give a light sheen and illuminate your face- trust me... these won't blind any bitches! The shades feel a bit powdery, which I'm not so much a fan of, but they are however, very buildable and blendable which I feel makes up for this; also, I found that the staying power isn't that bad!
