As those of you following me on my Studygram will know, this academic year was the year in which I applied to university - and to say it's been a tumultuous journey would be quite the understatement! With the process now coming to a near-end, with all resting on my A-Level results (hasn't that become a sticky one?), I thought it would be the perfect time to share this very journey with you today - which, yes, involves the infamous Oxford rejection and an unexpected change of course. Although this post is very much about me sharing my personal journey, I am still keen for there to be something that you as a reader can take away - and for that, I will be telling you about some of the things I think I did well, as well as some of the mistakes that you can avoid for an overall better application experience. I ought to mention that this post was inspired by the lovely Eleanor Claudie - and let me tell you, if you haven't read her blog yet, you are missing out! Without further ado, let's jump right in!
